Samye Ling is one of the places where I have had the most profound and deep spiritual experiences and insights.  It is a place where connection to our true inner nature is almost inevitable and where healing occurs on the deepest levels.  I believe that the only way to connect with our true nature is by cultivating deep inner peace and stillness; by nurturing our connection to the universal energy of love and by releasing our own agendas that stand between love and our true selves.

During this retreat we will work in particular with the heart centre, to allow the opening to love and acceptance.  We will access our intuitive nature which is linked to an open heart, and offer our practice to the benefit of all sentient beings.

Inner Awareness, Mindfulness and Intuition
Ireland

Sunyata Retreat Centre is nestled into a hill on a beautiful 10-acre property amidst the rolling hills of East Clare in West Ireland. A spacious haven outside the bustle of modern life, Sunyata is perfectly situated for relaxation, meditation, and contemplation. The word 'Sunyata' is from the ancient Pali and Sanskrit languages, meaning 'the spaciousness behind all form'. Sunyata is the first centre I ever ran a retreat and I am delighted to be returning to this magical place, where nature and man seem in so much harmony.

During this retreat we will explore our own inner spaciousness, connect with the peace of nature, practice awareness and mindfulness, as well as nurturing the energies of compassion and love. There are beautiful walks in the Clare hills nearby as well as beautiful areas to explore on the property.  We will have a day out to explore the surrounding area and enjoy the Irish hospitality.

The 4 Elements, Shamanic Journeys and Shape Shifting
Italy
9th – 16th Oct 2010

La Torre is first class accommodation, with luxurious apartments and fabulous grounds complete with swimming pool, tennis courts, woodland walks and magnificent views.  With its 360 degree vista of the surrounding mountains I can’t think of a more appropriate venue for connecting with elements, elementals and nature.  We will explore the “energies” of St Francis and call on them to assist with our connection and communion with the natural realms. 

Through his “Canticles of the Creatures of the Sun” St. Francis demonstrated his understanding and resonance with the 4 elements, as well as Father Sky and Mother Earth, we will journey to connect with these aspects, and look at “playing” with the  energy body to allow us go beyond the form. Shape Shifting involves the merging and uniting with different forms so that we can embody their positive qualities to help us grow and evolve.  There will be some excursions to inspirational areas of beauty.
